Already noticed through his four amazing attempts on our last Deeparture compilation, Seereal is coming back with a new EP, entirely for him. And the Parisian boy shows another time he knows how to conjugate minimal sounds and dynamism. Four absolute gems, refleting together Seereal’s technical skills and creativity. All elements coming together and serve the powerful sound which will smash the dancefloor !

A. ‘Book Of The Dead’

This first tune opens on an enigmatic intro, but beats and basslines don’t take a really long time to come : this is definitely a dancing tune, providing an infectious energy and which will undoubtedly conqueer every D&B heart. Such a Book can’t be missed !

B. ‘Just Work’

Two words, but not the least important, sum up this tune : simple & efficient ! With its original bassline tinged with acid elements resounding like a siren, not so many will be able to resist to the call. This track could first appear harmless, but perfectly knows how to make people move ! Perfect secret weapon !

C. ‘Replicant’

Mysterious ambiance mixed with the rigour of a broken drum and constant powerful bassline make definitively this tune the main title of the whole EP. A true smaher, and must-have for the winter !

D. ‘The Box’

A true tribute to the late 90’s Drum & Bass , ‘The Box’ provides vitality and clearly expresses its wish : to make people dance, without falling into the trap of comformist sonorities. Sober but effective, this tune is a demonstration of what Jump Up was and should have remained.
